Random pictures of Taylor....He's getting so big already! Now that his face is filling out he looks so much like Zach did as a baby. I can't wait til Aug 1st gets here as Taylor will be 3 months old and that is the day we got Zach. I want to compare pics of them at that age! We went to the doctor last week and Taylor is weighing in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long. That's exactly a pound more and 3/4 of an inch longer than he was at birth. He's only in the 10th percentile for his age group, but that's ok cuz his brother was only in the 5th percentile and he's doing fine! I think I may just have tiny fellas!
Here's some random pics from the last couple of weeks.....
I think we may have a thumb sucker.......
Bubba Treyton and Taylor....
This is Donnie holding Taylor. They were watching the weather as we were having storms. Donnie is sure that Taylor was being extra attentive since it was weather they were watching. He so desperate for someone else in the house to be as in to the weather as he is. Poor baby doesn't have a choice does he! :)
And this picture is just for Aunt Tracey......Uncle David came into town to visit and I knew you would want to see the two of them together Tracey! :)
So there's our boy.....sweet as all get out he is! Now if we could get his eating and digestive systems working together then I think life would be pretty good around here! He'll be 1 month old on Friday. I can't even believe we have had him that long already. Time flies when your tired I guess!
We went and got the boys pics taken, so I'm going to attempt to figure out how to load those pics on here. If there is another post tonight, then I guess I figured it out. If there isn't another post tonight, then I must have either gotten tired or mommy duties called cuz it certainly wouldn't be cuz I couldn't figure it out! :)

Finally an update!!!!!! What Zach's been up to.....
Sorry for the huge break in blogging updates, but we've been a bit busy with the 2 little guys! It has been a crazy sleep deprived 3 weeks for us! We seem to have developed a routine, as much of one as we ever have anyway! Here's some pics of Zach over the past few weeks. I'm doing another blog this evening of pics of Taylor. I had too many pics to go all on one post! So hard to pick what to put on here cuz I have so many I what to share....I have very photographic children!
Now that Zach's a big brother, we decided he was ready for a little more responsibility. We gave him some optins and he chose mowing as his new chore. He thought grass was a bit too easy so took on the bigger challenge of mowing the water at the end of the driveway.....what a hard worker! I'm so proud.....
Nothing better than playing in water at the end of the driveway now is there!
This is one of my favorite things Zach is doing these days.....when you ask him a question of where someone/something is he puts his hands up like this. It's adorable!
Most of the time this is how Zach is with Taylor.....
Zach has really done pretty good in regards to Taylor. He LOVES the baby and gives LOTS and LOTS of kisses to him! He's very gentle and even shares his beloved taggie with him. That's HUGE! There are those moments though....and there have been lots of them.....when mommy doesn't have enough arms to hold everyone and carry everything. This is what happens when that occurs......immediately he throws himself to the ground and a fit ensues. I tried to get photos but he was not cooperative....imagine that! He was less than pleased with me lets say!
It's still just so hard for me to think of Zach as a big brother! Big brother or not, he still my baby! :) Zach's mommy....

Meet Taylor!!!!!
Meet baby Taylor.....
This is Zachary's biological brother who was born on May 1st. He came to us on May 5th and this was our first night at home with him! Isn't he just sweet! We have some pics of Zach when he was a newborn and they look like they could be twins! We didn't get Zach til he was 3 months old, so we didn't get to take our own pics. So glad the family that had him let us have a few copies! Anyhow, Taylor has joined our family and we are so excited that he and Zach are together!
Now we will await what can be a lengthy court process while we wait and see where things go. Please be praying with us for this process and that God's hand oversee all that happens and helps guide those powers that be that get to make all the legal decisions on his life! We are just thankful he is here and at home with us. I thought Zach was little when we got him......but goodness Taylor is tiny! He weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 19 inches long. He has a doctor appointment next week so we shall see what he weighs then! He certainly isn't a very fast eater so he needs to work on that if he's going to catch up to Zach!
So here's some pics from our first night with our new little guy......
Zachy meets Taylor and gets to have a turn "holding" his baby brother. I love these pics! Zach was so calm and gentle. He just stared at him and would softly touch him. I'm sure that won't last long! :) He cried when his turn was done....so cute!
Daddy and his baby boys......
Mama and her baby boys......
We gave Taylor a MUCH needed bath. I don't think he had one since he was born. He still had that white furry stuff newborns have one them (I know, very technical with my terminology!). He was a bit smelly. Don't get me started on that cuz I get a bit worked up about it! Anyhow....he's clean now and smells GREAT! At least he is if you smell him right after his bath....the boy poops more than any baby I've ever met! :)
We got out Zach's old baby swing. It's his long lost favorite toy!!! Taylor doesn't get much of a chance to lay in it cuz Zach has reclaimed it as his!
The last thing we did before getting kids off to bed was do a size comparison. My goodness Zach's a GIANT!!!!! When did my baby get soooo big???? I've always thought Zach was small for his age and if you measure him out against other kids his age he's only in the 5th percentile. So he is small for a 19 month old. But ya put him next to Taylor and he's huge!!!! The outfit Taylor is wearing is one that Zach wore as a newborn and the family that first had him sent it with him. I love that we can have pics of both of them in this outfit!
So that's our new little guy! Things changed very quickly at our house and we are trying to establish our new routine. I am very thankful to work at an agency that is going to be flexible and allow me to work part-time for the next 6 weeks or so. Given the very short notice of Taylor's arrival I am thankful I get to have this opportunity. We are feeling the effects of having 2 children that do not sleep through the night! Due to the effects of his inutero drug exposure, Zach doesn't sleep through the night. We are praying this won't be the case for Taylor too! Please pray for Donnie and I as we try to balance the 2 of them during the night and try to get some sleep ourselves so we can function! Despite being tired, I just love my little boys so much! They are such a precious gift and I am thankful God has entrusted these little boys to us.
Off to "talk" Taylor into waking up to finish eating and then kiss him goodnight for hopefully a few hours anyway! :)
Can you even believe I'm the mother of 5 children ranging from 7 days to 21 years of age! I sure can't! But I sure do love it! Dannon

Let's play a game......
Have you ever played the game Guess Who???? I don't necessarily like the guessing part, but do particularly enjoy being the one who knows the answer! Soooo, thought this would be a fun night to play a game of Guess Who! I'll give you 2 pics as clues and then you get to try and guess who it is. Sounds fun doesn't it! All 3 Michelle's don't get to guess for like a day if you know cuz you'll give it away!
Soooooo, here's your 2 pics.....
Good luck......Dannon

All in a day's work.....
Hey all....Zach here. I asked my mom to follow me around with the camera on Saturday so I could do a post on all the work I do around here in a day. I never realized how hard I work until I put it all into pictures.......You will notice that I worked so hard that I went through several changes of clothes today!
We had to take advantage of the dry weather so we spent LOTS of time working outside. My mom missed my first bit of yard work! I was helping my dad mow the lawn. First I let him carry me around while he mowed and then I walked along side him with my own "mower" (or baby stroller if you want to get all technical about it, but in my mind it WAS a mower). She showed up of course to photograph my break that I took. I really did work hard before she showed up!
Stopped to eat a little lunch.....and got a little bit sleepy from sitting still for a bit! Had my trusty taggie to snuggle with though....
Here I am helping in the yard. I helped carry around flower containers and "happened" to find a few puddles in the yard from all the rain. This is apparently what led to the end of this outfit for the day!
My dad reseeded little patches of grass this weekend and left these little flags all over the yard to mark where he planted the grass.
I helped my dad by picking all the flags out of the yard and bringing them to him.....several times! I don't know WHY he kept putting them back out in the grass cuz that just meant more work for me as I then had to go retrieve them again! I mean really dad, give a kid a break and quit leaving them lay around the yard I'm tired of picking them up already! :) And for those that were counting, yes this is my 3rd outfit of the day.....my mom thinks after I get soaked and muddy I need a new change of clothes. My personal thought is that I will dry eventually so why bother with it! But whatever....
After coming in from helping outside, I spent some time entertaining my older brother....
Then I helped my mom "clean" out the fridge....
What is it that I see back there......
Well it's something that needs to be "worked" on immediately and I just don't have time to get dressed first!
Whew what a long day.....time I FINALLY get some sleep! :)
Oh that sweet boy keeps us busy......
